  • Compare weight factor for the detected events (2 HESS and 2 MAGIC), versus our VERITAS list below.
  • For the following list of VERITAS observations:
    • Find zenith for each run (https://veritasm.sao.arizona.edu/DQM/loggen.html )
    • Use zenith to get energy threshold (E_th) (https://veritas.sao.arizona.edu/wiki/Performance_Paper#Zenith_angle_vs._Energy_threshold)
    • Plug in E_th to weight factor equation (W = e^-tau/t_delay, where tau=tau(z, E_th) ) Use gammapy to get this e^-tau. Use Gilmore EBL model.

  • Worked with gammapy tutorials. Did HESS survey map. Is map telescope pointing, or event counts?
  • Can check this HESS map for plotting different scale (linear vs log)
  • Use the 4 pointing files from gammapy to simulate the Crab.
  • Massimo will reach out to gammapy contact to get more pointing files.

  • Worked on Blazars slides for presentation.
  • Will work on GeV-TeV cutoff. Has a spreadsheet for runs to analyze and has begun downloading.
  • Qi gave some feedback on slides.
  • Qi and Elisa will pick one priority source for Daniela to work on. Next call with Elisa next week.

  • Working on testing the GUI. Tested power supply.
  • Might need a different connection for library to communicate with power supply.
