When trying this out, try the TLS values first; select TLS if your mail reader offers the option, SSL if it doesn't. If TLS doesn't work for SMTP (e.g., Outlook Express), try SSL (SMTPS) over port 465.

The mail server will offer TLS on the "standard" ports of 110, 143, and 25 anyway; some mail readers can take advantage of this. The
